Our Witchy Tea Recipe

With the excitement around Hocus Pocus 2 this week, we're itchin' to be witchin' even though it's still summer.

Feeling the urge to uncover your Witchy side lately? Us too.

Although we already have our Disney Hocus Pocus Loungefly mini backpack and DVD ready to use at any given moment, we decided to take our slight Hocus Pocus obsession into the kitchen today.

While a cup of tea can make you calmer with the right ingredients, can it make your wish come true? In a word, YES.

Here's how to make your tea more MAGICKAL. Yes, we said magickal.

  1. While waiting for the water to boil, draw a symbol such as the pentagram in the air above the kettle. The U.S. government made the Pentagon from this very symbol. Coincidence? No.

  2. Stir the tea in a clockwise motion to bring forth your spell {aka magickal wish}.

  3. Visualize whatever it is you want to manifest while sipping your tea.

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups filtered boiling water 1 teaspoon chamomile blossoms, dried 1 teaspoon mint, dried 1/2 teaspoon lavender blossoms, dried Honey (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a pot, bring water to boil, pour over all ingredients in a tea ball strainer. 2. Let steep for 15-20 minutes. 3. Strain into witchy teacup. Add honey to taste.
